On your arrival to Mumbai, India you will be received by Discovery Prime Tours representative who will assist you to your hotel and will also brief you about your tour. After handing over all the relevant documents and details of your tour, our assistant will leave you for a comfortable overnight stay at hotel.
After taking a delicious breakfast in your hotel, depart to visit the Gateway of India. And from here, take a boat cruise to explore the beauty of Elephanta caves. Return back to Mumbai to visit the famous Prince of Wales Museum (now known as The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya) further take a tour to Parliament House, Marine Drive, Jain Temple, Hanging Gardens and Crawford Market. An overnight stay will remain scheduled in the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board flight for Bhavnagar. On arrival check in to the hotel and after relaxing for a while start your sightseeing tour of Bhavnagar. Visit the famous Gandhi Smriti, a memorial complex of the father of the nation that has a library, a small museum, gallery dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. From there, take a tour to Gauri Shankar Lake, a picnic spot and Takhteshwar Temple with fine views from the hilltop. Later, in the afternoon, visit the Bhavnagar lock gate that keeps ship afloat during low tides in the city’s port. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.
After breakfast leave Bhavnagar and drive towards Palitana. On arrival, check in to the hotel and after taking a short break visit the Palitana temples. Situated on top of Shatrunjay hill, there are around 863 temples which were built in 11th -12th century. Dedicated to Jainism, the temples are famous for their exquisite marble arches, carved pillars and bejeweled idols. Evening is kept free for your individual activities. Stay overnight at hotel.
After breakfast in Palitana drive to Ahmedpur-Mandvi which is famous for its finest beaches and coastline in India. On arrival at Somnath proceed directly to visit the very famous Shiva temple of Somnath, The historic shore temple of Somnath is one of the 12 important Jyotirlingas of Shiva in India. A museum nearby has exhibits from the original temple before invaders destroyed it. Later, in the afternoon leave for Sasan Gir by car. On arrival at Sasan-Gir, check-in to the hotel.
