On your arrival in Ahmedabad, India you will be received by Discovery Prime Tours representative who will assist you to your hotel and will also brief you about your tour. After taking scrumptious breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the magnificent Mosque of Siddi Saiyad, the beautiful Jama Masjid, White marbled Hathee Singh’s Temple, Dada Hari Baoli, Sabarmati Ashram and Akshardham. An overnight stay will remain scheduled in the hotel.
After breakfast drive towards Madera Paten which is famous for magnificent stone temples dedicated to the sun god. Set along the backdrops of the river Pushpavati, this monument proudly presents the living glimpse of architectural richness of ancient Solanki rule in Gujarat. Each pillar and wall of the temple hold a mythological story behind it. In the evening, return back to Ahmadabad. Spend rest of the time exploring the city by yourself. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After a deductible breakfast in your hotel, continue the journey towards the next destination Wankaner, a former princely state is a present time popular heritage site. On arrival, check in to the heritage hotel which was earlier a palace belonging to the royal family of Wankaner. Situated on the banks of Machachhu lake, the palace is an awesome place to experience the heritage abundance of Gujarat. After visiting the Ranjit Vilas Palace, Royal Oasis and various other temples, visit the site scene and the city which is especially known for brick makers and pottery. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Start the day with a delicious breakfast and pack your bags for the next destination, Bhuj. Enroute visit Gandhidham, the city which was planned to provide the accommodation for the refugees from Pakistan at the time of separation in 1947 and also a famous pilgrimage. The Bhadreshwer temple has a huge idol of Lord Shiva which was built in the 10th century. Another attraction is Purneshwer Temple. On arrival in Bhuj, check in to the hotel Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.
After breakfast; take sightseeing tour of the city and visit Aina Mahal, Hira Mahal,Prag Mahal, Kachh museum and then drive to Mandvi to enjoy the tranquil beach life of the city. The crystal clear waters and clean, firm beaches make it a perfect swimming spot. And if you love water sports then water skiing, water surfing, scooting, speed boating and para-sailing are a few activities to enjoy. Drive back to Bhuj in the evening. Stay overnight at hotel.
Start the day with breakfast in the hotel and then you will have a jeep safari to the Bani area of tribal villages. This will be a great opportunity to explore the unique amalgamation of some Africal tribes with the native Indian tribes. In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, start your journey to Jamnagar, known for the largest oil refinery in northwest India. On arrival check in at the hotel and freshen up for the sight seeing tour of the city. After visiting the temple and spending some time on the attractive beaches, full of bird life, drive back to Jamnagar for an overnight stay.
After taking breakfast at hotel, leave Jamnagar and depart for Sasan Gir enroute visiting Junagarh. The main attractions are Upperkot Fort, Adi kadi vav step well and Mahabat Maqbara. Later in the afternoon, visit the mount Girnar, a Jain pilgrimage that comprises of 16 Jain temples on top of the hill offers a great panoramic view of the city from the top. Then continue your drive towards Sasan Gir, on arrival transfer to jungle lodge. Spend the time at leisure. Stay overnight here.
After breakfast, take an excursion to jungle safari in the Gir Wildlife Reserve, which is best known as a dignified home of the royal king of the jungle. It is an awesome opportunity to witness the glory of nature and spotting the lions in their natural habitat. After a tiring day in the jungle, relax in the jungle lodge for an overnight stay.
In the early morning, Start the day with an early breakfast and start driving for Bhavnagar enroute take a break at Palitana which is situated on top of Shatrunjay hill, there are around 863 temples which were built in 11th -12th century. Dedicated to Jainism, the temples are famous for their exquisite marble arches, carved pillars and bejeweled idols. On arriving Bhavnagar check in to the hotel. Evening is kept free for your individual activities. Stay overnight at hotel.
After breakfast you will visit Gandhi Smriti which is a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi including a library, museum and a gallery dedicated to the Father of the Nation. The next spot is beautiful Guru Shankar Lake and Takhteshwar Temple with fine natural view from the hill top. The next destination is the Bhavnagar lock gate that keeps ship afloat during low tides in the city’s port. Later drive to Rajkot, after check in into the hotel and freshen up, start exploring the city by visiting Watson Museum and Swaminarayan Temple. Stay overnight at hotel.
