Welcome to Mumbai. Loud, crowded, restless, and full of life. As you land, a Discovery Prime Tours representative will meet you outside the airport. You will then be assisted to your hotel. Settle into your hotel, freshen up, and slow down after the flight. The representative will provide all necessary documents related to your journey.

The rest of the day is kept light. If you step out, it is worth grabbing a cutting chai or a vada pav nearby just to feel the city. Enjoy your first night in Mumbai, resting and relaxing in the comfort of your hotel.

Enjoy a delightful breakfast to start your day. Begin your adventure at the iconic Gateway of India. From here, take a boat ride across the harbour to Elephanta Caves.

At Elephanta Caves, walk up the stone steps and explore the rock-cut caves carved centuries ago. Don’t miss out on the famous Trimurthi of Shiva. Cruise back to the Gateway of India after exploration. Later, visit the Prince of Wales Museum to understand Mumbai beyond films and finance. Then spend some time in the Hanging Gradens and drive past the Parliament House. Slow things down in the evening at the Marine Drive. Walk, talk, and watch the sea.

In the evening, eat where Mumbai eats. Old cafés like Leopold or Mondegar still carry stories on their walls. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Early morning transfer to the railway station. Board the Tapovan Express at 06:10 hrs and watch the city slowly fade into open land. Arrival in Aurangabad around 13:15 hrs, followed by transfer to your hotel.

After some rest, visit the Aurangabad Caves. From these, visit the formidable Daulatabad Fort located just 13 km from Aurangabad. After visiting, come back to your hotel. Stay overnight at Aurangabad.

After breakfast, drive to Ajanta Caves, set deep in the Sahyadri hills above the Waghora River. These caves tell stories through paintings and sculptures that have survived for over a thousand years. The silence here feels heavy but peaceful.

Later, proceed to Ellora Caves, dedicated to Brahmanism, Jainism, and Buddhism. Check out Buddhist monasteries, Jain temples, and Hindu shrines. Return to your hotel for the night.

*Note: Ajanta Caves is closed on Mondays and Ellora Caves on Tuesdays.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. On arrival, the day is free. You may revisit a favourite spot, shop, or simply sit at a café and watch the city move.
