Day 1: Arrival Delhi

A Discovery Prime Tours representative will accord you a cordial traditional Indian welcome upon your arrival in Delhi. An exclusive car will take you to your hotel. Our representative will brief you about your North India with Varanasi tour at the hotel. Once done with an awesome breakfast, you begin taking the tourism route of both old and new Delhi’s.
The itinerary includes visits to several iconic landmarks, such as the following:

  • One of the biggest Asian masques – Jama Masjid.
  • A grand fort was built by the Mughals under their emperor Shah Jahan over 20 years (from 1638 to 1648), known as the Red Fort.

    Day 2: Delhi to Mandawa (260 kilometers)

    After having a delicious breakfast in the hotel, we shall make an awesome drive to Mandawa. Once in Mandawa, you will check-in to your hotel. Mandawa’s deserved moniker “open-air art gallery of Rajasthan” signifies the real Mandawa. It is popular for outstanding frescos. Get ready to be amazed by exquisitely embellished havelis which run along ancient and glorious Silk routes established in the 18th and 19th century by wealthy traders. Then go for a stroll through this charming village taking in the traditional lifestyle of its residents. You will have to spend your night in a hotel surrounded by the magical aura of Mandawa as the day vanishes.


      Day 3: Mandawa to Bikaner (180 Kilometers)

      After the pleasure of breakfast, our North India with Varanasi tour goes to Bikaner. On our way we will take a short visit to Fatehpur village famous for its Shekhawati havelis. You will surely be amazed by these architectural wonders. We will get into the vivacious Bikaner city by the afternoon. Our journey of sight-seeing begins in Bikaner with a view of the unconquerable Junagarh Fort which was built in the 15th century. While in the fort, you will find a number of impressive gates; through Karan Pol which gives access to this ancient bastion and close by, Suraj Pol, the sun gate. At the Camel Breeding Farm, we proceed to learn about the different camel breeding processes. The farm will, however, be closed on Sundays. We shall move to Deshnoke Rat temple in the evening as Bikaner goes to sunset. The evening will be spent in your hotel in Bikaner, with the memories of a day full of history and culture.


        Day 4: Bikaner to Jaisalmer (330 Kilometers)

        For a start, we are going to have our early breakfast, start our journey and explore the Thar Desert before arriving in Jaisalmer, the golden city. On our way, a remarkable visit will also be made to Pokharan, the home to great Akbar the Great, third Mughal Emperor. This is an ideal place to discover the village’s local market in the center for a feel of it.
        Immediately after consuming a good lunch we proceed to the charming city of Jaisalmer. Try to get to this desert oasis by the end of the evening. Jaisalmer is famous for its mystic sunsets which is sure to make you feel mesmerized.
        Before finally retiring for the night in your hotel, you will have the city of Jaisalmer lodged in your heart as its mystic charm has certainly etched a mark on your mind.


          Day 5: Jaisalmer Exploration

          We will begin our tour of the Golden City of Jaisalmer to take in its splendor today. The history and desert beauty of this city make it truly captivating.
          Our journey includes visits to the following iconic attractions:

          • Sonar Fort (Golden Fort): Rising from the desert sands, this majestic fort blends in with the golden color of the deserts.
          • Badal Niwas: Historical place which gives an insight into Jaisalmer’s past.
          • Manak Chowk: Jaisalmer’s most bustling square is a lively snapshot of day to day activity.
          • Patwon Ki Haveli: Tour one of the many, yet ornate havelis that are still home to remains of mirror work and walls full of paintings.
          • Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli: This is the famous Haveli which is praised for its miniature-like paintings and amazing Yellow Sandstone elephant statue guards.
          • Deewan Salim Singh Ki Haveli: There is a lot discovered in the 18 century Prime Minister's residence.
          We will then move onto Gadisar Lake, a tranquil spot that will complete our tour.
          In the evening, be ready for a memorable camel cart trek to the Sam or Khuri sand dunes where the desert sunset is awesome. Have a great dinner meal in mud huts but with folk musicians as they sing the folk songs in the air.
          After that, you will go back to your hotel in Jaisalmer where you will spend the night recounting the amazing day filled with magic of this city.


            Day 6: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur (280 km)

            We leave for Jodhpur in the morning where we stopover at Mandore gardens. We drive through to Jodhpur where we check-in at the hotel before driving through to visit Mehrangarh Fort, a historical fortress encompassing a fascinating museum with several palaces such as Phool Mahal and Moti Mahal. Finally, we will go to Jaswant Thadhe, a complexly carved marble cenotaph, and Umaid Bhawan Palace, a unique palace during our North India with Varanasi tour. You can relax at your own pace in the evening or explore the spice market where there are the scents and tastes of Indian spices. You reach your Jodhpur hotel for your night’s accommodation.


              Day 7: From Jodhpur to Ranakpur passing through Bishnoi villages (185 km)

              Having a good breakfast along the way through Bishnoi village of Guda, we leave for Ranakpur. The Bishnoi Tribe inhabits this village, and they are famous for their distinctive way of living. The vegetarians also respect nature and treat it with the highest regard in all aspects. The Bishnois tribe lives in this village as well as different species of blackbucks, antelopes, chinkara, peacocks and graceful cranes that are free to walk around.
              We shall first arrive at the city of Ranakpur (named after Rana Kumbha) then proceed to the famous Jain temple – Ranakpur’s crown jewel. Chamukh is the main temple and it displays four images of Adinath, 29 halls, and 1444 pillars with exquisitely sculpted figures on each one. There is also the Sun Temple as well as the Amba Mata temple, Parsvanath Temple, and Neminath Temple. The night will be spent in Ranakpur while you take home cherished memories of cultural immersion and overwhelming architecture.


                Day 8: Kumbhalgarh to Ranakpur, Udaipur (140 km)

                In the morning, we set off for Udaipur, the city of lakes, after taking our breakfast. On our way, we see Kumbhalgarh Fort with a great wall that protects it; the Muchchal Mahavir Temple. We also visit Sahelion ki Bari, walk through the narrow streets, and spend our time relaxing in one of the most beautiful places in India – Udaipur.


                  Day 9: Udaipur Exploration

                  After breakfast, we commence our Udaipur city tour, beginning with:

                  • City Palace: Discover this famous palace for its stunning structures.
                  • Jagdish Temple: Visit the majestic Jagdish Temple, worshiping the lord Vishnu.
                  • Folk Art Museum: Explore Rajasthan's vivid culture with puppets, musical instruments, and painting.
                  At night, walk around the streets, or take a ride on Lake Pichola to admire the magical lake palaces. Wrap up your day with a magnificent dinner at the Taj Lake Palace.
                  Have a comfortable night at your hotel.


                    Day 10: Udaipur to Pushkar (275 km)

                    Day ten marks our farewell to the holy town of Udaipur, as we move on to Pushkar, the holy city. We see Eklingji and Nagda Jain Temples as well as Saas and Bahu Temple and learn about the ancient culture and religions of this place.
                    In the evening upon our arrival in Pushkar, we visit the famous Brahma Temple – one of the only temples devoted to Lord Brahma, the Creator among the Hindu Trinity. In addition, we visit Lake Pushkar, which is believed to form where lotus petals fell from the hands of Lord Brahma.
                    Have an easy walk in the local lively market at an evening to the cultural experiences and the colorful life of this holy city.


                      Day 11: Pushkar to Jaipur (150 km)

                      Along the way to Jaipur, we have some amazing stops in Ajmer. Our tour will take us to the Nasiya Golden Jain Temple, “Dargah Sharif’' which is considered holy, and the historic Adhai Din Ka Jhopra.
                      Upon reaching the capital city of Rajasthan, known as the "Pink City," this afternoon, we embark on a tour of its key attractions:

                      • City Palace: This magnificent palace today is still the home to H.H Bhawani Singh Ji of Jaipur, one of the former royalty. It has a huge repository of paintings, lovely carpets and old-fashioned arms.
                      • Jantar Mantar Observatory: Stone observatory is located in the center of the city and its measurements of time are correct since the 17th century. It is, perhaps, the biggest and most preserved observatory worldwide. We will visit the beautiful Birla temple on our way back.
                      For your relaxation in the evening, the city is there for you to enjoy it according to your liking.


                        Day 12: Jaipur Exploration

                        Our full day in Jaipur includes:

                        • Amber Fort: Visit this breathtaking hilltop fortress and explore its exquisite architecture, including Sheesh Mahal – the hall of mirrors.
                        • Jal Mahal: Take a trip to the beautiful Water Palace at Maota Lake.
                        • Hawa Mahal: Behold the famous Palace of Winds with its window panes in pink color and delicate filigree screens.
                        • After Lunch: Visit the Monkey Temple and Galta sun Temple in the beautiful mountain region.
                        • Evening: Visit the celebrated Raj Mandir to catch a Bollywood flick and have authentic Rajasthani food at an Indian restaurant to the accompaniment of folk performances.

                          Day 13: From Jaipur to Agra through Fatehpur Sikri (232 Km)

                          We will spend a relaxed morning in Jaipur and then drive to Agra. While on this journey, we will also visit Bharatpur's Keoladeo National Park. Afternoon, we will visit the historic Fatehpur Sikri built by Akbar towards the end of the 16 th century known for its red sandstone buildings. When we arrive in Agra we tour the impressive Agra Fort. In the evening, you are free to explore the city’s markets.


                            Day 14: Agra / Gwalior / Orchha (205 Km)

                            Our morning begins with a trip to the spectacular Taj Mahal that is constructed of pure white marble by Shah Jahan as a memorial for his late wife.On our way to Orchha, we discover Gwalior, which boasts of some renowned historical sites such as Teli ka Mandir, Saas Bahu ka Mandir, and many more. Besides, we pay visits to the Tomb of Tansen and places of remembrance of early warriors in their quest for freedom.Awaiting are the palaces and temples in the medieval city of Orchha along the banks of the Betwa River. The famous mural paintings are found in Jahangiri Mahal, Raj Mahal, and Raj Parveen Mahal.We drive to Orchha in the evening and relax at our hotel in a place full of history.


                              Day 15: Orchha to Khajuraho (182 km)

                              Next, following breakfast, we will proceed to Laxminarayana temple, Chaturbhuj temple, Phull Bagh and lastly Sun temple in Orchha. In the afternoon, we drive to Khajuraho, which is a popular destination especially because of its famous temples such as those that bear erotic sculptures. We visit notable temples such as Kandariya Mahadeva, Vishvanatha, Parsvanatha, Vaidyanatha, Jagadambi, and Chitragupta among others in Khajuraho. After dinner you may have dinner in an Indian restaurant with typical dance-shows.


                                Day 16: Khajuraho to Varanasi (By Flight)

                                You will have a leisure breakfast and then you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Varanasi. On arrival, our representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day you will have free time.


                                  Day 17: Varanasi Exploration

                                  Begin with a pre-dawn boat journey down the Yamuna River to some of the major Ghats. Explore Banaras Hindu University. Finally, proceed to a Sarnath Temple and the Archaeological Museum in which Lord Buddha preached his first sermon. Overnight at the hotel.


                                    Day 18: Varanasi to Delhi (By Flight)

                                    You can visit the Ghats of Varanasi in the morning following your breakfast. And later you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Delhi.
                                    Our driver will meet you on arrival in Delhi. It is possible to take a walk at Connaught for shopping or have dinner in a nice restaurant there..
                                    Finally, you’ll be taken to the international airport three hours before the scheduled time of your flight home.
