Day Wise Itinerary
Arrival and Night in Bangalore
Land at Kempegowda International Airport. The Discovery Prime Tours representative will meet and greet you at the Bangalore airport. You will be driven to your hotel and will be given a short brief on the tour.
Once done and after relaxing a bit, proceed on your sightseeing journey in the City of Gardens - Bangalore. Main attractions to visit are:
- Lalbagh Botanical Garden
- Vidhan Saudha
- Bangalore Palace.
Come back in the evening and rest. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Bangalore to Bannerghatta Day Trip
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive 22 km to Bannerghatta Biological Park (1 hour). The main attractions at the reserve are the zoo, safari, butterfly park, and reptile house. Take up a safari ride in enclosed buses. Here you can spot several tigers and lions that have been rescued from circuses. In the evening, you will return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Bangalore.
Bangalore to Mysore
After breakfast, drive to Mysore. After the check-in formalities are done, take some rest. Then, head out to explore the city. Visit the grand Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, and Brindavan Gardens. In the evening, enjoy the light and music fountain show at Brindavan Gardens. Overnight stay in Mysore.
Mysore to Ranganathittu Day Trip
Morning drive 16 km to Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. It’s located in one of the six small islands on the Kaveri River. This place is known for its birdlife and nesting sites. Enjoy a boat ride to see different bird species and the natural surroundings. Later, visit Balmuri Falls before returning to Mysore. Overnight stay in Mysore.
Mysore to Nagarhole
After breakfast, drive to Nagarhole National Park. On arrival, check in to your jungle lodge and relax. After lunch, you can go for a short nature walk to explore the forest surroundings. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at the lodge.
Nagarhole National Park
Start the day early with a wildlife safari in Nagarhole National Park. Look for tigers near water bodies, elephants in herds, gaur (Indian bison), monkeys, deer, sambar, and wild dogs.
After the safari, return to the lodge for breakfast and some rest. In the afternoon, head out for another safari to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge by evening. Overnight stay at Nagarhole.
Nagarhole to Bandipur
After breakfast, you proceed to the next stop- Bandipur National Park. When you reach the jungle resort and complete the check-in formalities, it will be almost afternoon. In the evening, take a walk around the resort area and enjoy the peaceful forest atmosphere. Overnight stay at Bandipur.
Bandipur Safari
You will enjoy two wildlife safaris today. One is scheduled pre-breakfast and the other after lunch. You may be lucky to get to see a variety of birds and wild animals today.
Between the safaris, relax at the resort and enjoy the surroundings. If time permits, you may also visit the nearby Venugopala Temple. Overnight stay at Bandipur.
Bandipur to Ooty
Wake up early and have your breakfast. Now, start your drive towards Ooty. Pass through Mudumalai forest and then tea estates covering hillsides along the way. Once you arrive in Ooty, check into the hotel.
After lunch, explore the place on your own. The Botanical Garden, Doddabett Park, and the tea plantations are the major attractions here. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Ooty City Tour
After breakfast, you will proceed to enjoy the various sights that Ooty has to offer. The top places to visit today are:

- Ooty Lake
- Dolphin’s Nose
- Droog Fort
In the late afternoon, you can optionally take the toy train ride from Mettupalayam to Coonoor. After you have soaked yourself in the beauty of the Nilgiri Hills and the lakes, it is time to return to the hotel. Overnight in Ooty.
Ooty to Bangalore
Today is your last day of the South India Wildlife Tour Package. Have your breakfast and check out. Drive 270 km back to Bangalore (6 hours). Pass through Bandipur again (possible elephant sightings), then the plains with coffee plantations. Reach Bangalore. Our driver will then drop you off at the airport 3 hours before your flight time. Tour ends.
