Day Wise Itinerary
Bagdogra to Gangtok
Land at Bagdogra Airport. Our driver meets you outside. Drive uphill to Gangtok - it will take 4 hours. Road follows the Teesta River through valleys, then climbs hairpin bends. Arrive at Gangtok, check in to your hotel. In the evening, go to MG Marg for a walk. You can check cafes, bakeries, and shops here. Try momo, thupka, laphing and other special dishes here. Stay in Gangtok.
Gangtok City Tour
Today, after breakfast, head out for a sightseeing tour. Places to visit in 1-day in Gangtok are:
- Rumtek Monastery
- Do-rul Chorthen
- Research Institute of Tibetology
- Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom
- Enchey Monastery.
The evening is free to relax or explore Gangtok. Overnight at the Hotel.
Gangtok to Kalimpong
After morning breakfast you will drive to Kalimpong. Arrive at Kalimpong and check in to your hotel. In the afternoon visit the Pine view flower Nursery, Mangal Dham Temple & Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang. Overnight at the Hotel.
Kalimpong to Darjeeling
Today, take your morning breakfast and transfer to Darjeeling - a beautiful hill station. In the evening, go for a walking tour of the Mall Road. Then, visit the Observatory Hill and the Mahakal Temple. Overnight at the hotel.
Darjeeling
Early morning, around 4:00 AM, drive to Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery. Other tourist places to visit in the afternoon are:
- Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park
- Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
- Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center
In the evening, head to Tea Estate to walk through the tea gardens. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Note: Tiger Hill visit is subject to permit availability. If permits are not available, the visit will be arranged after breakfast.
Darjeeling – Bagdogra Airport Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Bagdogra Airport. You will be dropped to the airport 3 hours before your flight schedule. The tour ends with beautiful memories.
